My plants are doing well too

from a big garden in Negros I now have a tiny front yard. The back yard is not big and is occupied by a big overground fishpond. Anyway since I have such a small yard I sent my ferns to my friend Ching for safe keeping and all I am left with are my Hoyas. They seem to like the place and I have taken hoya collecting seriously. Theres only one guy here who is also an avid collector and yes there's Dra. Martinez too. I good some good plants from her.

pix on top is a Hoya buotii from Quezon, Philippines and the one below is H. mitrata from Thailand.

Living in Davao

My wife and I have taken the plunge. I quite my job in Negros Occidental and moved to Davao last june of 2005. In Davao you get everything. You have the city life but are just a few minutes away from some form of nature. Mountain and sea seems to be so close by.

Food is dirt cheap and most of all the people are so nice.

It's been nine months since we transfered here and we are really liking it. My work takes me to Bukidnon and also General Santos and this makes it even more exciting.
